Our topic will be “The Original You”

I’ve been on a bit of a hiatus as of late because God’s been doing something incredible in my heart. Incredible and really, really hard. It has literally taken me two months to find out why unhinging my emotions was necessary and because I’m not going to throw together a gathering outside of Him telling me what to do, I waited. And now I know why. He’s bringing me back to how He originally created me. The “me” before tragedy hit. The “me” before feeling unseen. The “me” before I got in my own way. 

So, how can we get back to who we were created to be before life caused us to build walls of false protection? How can we worship God “in spirit and in truth” if we’re not walking in who we truly are? How do we learn to sit in the process of stripping away our “securities” so we can rest in the One who’s our ultimate protector? Let’s talk about it.

This is my way of creating a space to process, laugh, and attain freedom from any and all types of bondage. No matter what season you’re in—single, married, kids, divorced—as long as you’re a woman, you’re welcome to pick a mug that speaks to your heart (funny, cynical or serious), fill your cup up with coffee, tea or hot chocolate, take a seat and let’s be silly, be real and fill our souls just like we filled our mugs!
