I absolutely love any opportunity to play dress-up and get creative with make-up! So, naturally, when my friends Halloween party theme was “Alien”, I took that as a green light to YouTube all the fabulous alien looks and think through how I could be cute–because clearly that’s important–and compliment whatever make-up look I’d decide on.
There’s for sure only one place to go in order to accomplish this…Target.
My goal is to always purchase something I can wear on a regular day. I found a super cute long windbreaker jacket by Wild Fable on the sale rack and paired it an army green tank underneath and wine red opaque tights. It was cold outside, y’all! My Timberland boots, a gift from the hubs, came in handy to keep my toes from freezing and they topped off the look well.
For jewelry, I wore a spacious necklace that reminded me of some ethereal creature and added spiky earrings to my hair.
You don’t have to spend tons of moolah to create fun looks. Use your imagination and think outside of the box. I’m sure you’ll come up with something fun every time!
